Cleaned her up before Drew and i went for a cruise around Civic and Northbourne for Summernats.
24 February 2005
A couple of snaps of the old girl outside our new place at Deakin.
12-13 March 2005
Went over to Drews so we could give the cars a good wash and polish before the Wheels show at old Parliament house. We took both cars up round the corner from Drews for a few snap shots. I also bought a new radio for $10. It was probably a backward step going from the AM/FM cassette deck back to the old AM one. But at least its even more original now.

The ASFOC crew had a weekend trip away to Bathurst. We left Canberra early on the Saturday morning and took our time heading up there. Got there a bit after lunch. After some food we spent the rest of the afternoon doing laps of the track and taking pics. Was great fun. Sunday we did another lap or 3 before heading back into Canberra. A great weekend away.
26 July 2005
A sad day, the odometer is now up to 6 digits. We racked up 100,000 km today.
15 August 2005
Took Betty out for a few laps of the skidpan. It didn't matter that she has no power, it was that slippery we still had some huge sideways fun and some spins too. Noticed that she turned better one way than the other. Probably time for some suspension work.
29-30 October 2005
Time for the Capri Muster and Small Ford Gathering again. There was a great turnout of the Sydney crew with lots of classic small Fords getting around. The show'n'shine was at Weston Park. It was great to see a bunch of old cars gathering in the one spot. On the Sunday we went for a cruise out west of Canberra in the hills. Stopped in at the tracking station for some photos and a chat. Was an excellent run.

Cleaned Betty up ready for the Cooma Motorfest. Went around and took some pics of the inside. I love her interior, so original and it looks like something straight out of the brochure. The boot with the great rubber mat and spare wheel look neat too.

Drew (in George) and I cruised on down to Cooma for the Motorfest. Was a really big show and the cars filled up the showgrounds. Plenty to look at with a lot of great old cars coming out of the woodwork. Drew won Best Japanese car on the day. Great stuff for him. Took some pics of the interior while the seats were uncovered too.
