The club had gotten an invite to a small show run by the Rotary Club at Kiama. Because it was so close to home we hatched a plan to take the whole family along. We put a kid seat into Betty and Tal came with me early and we headed up to Kiama. We met Steve on the outskirts of town and crusied on in. The other few SFCC guys were already there. Me and Tal did some wandering around, and then she was keen to take some pics, os I handed her the camera. She went crazy taking pics of the cars, which was so cool to see. Carlyn, Maya and Flynn arrived a bit before lunch with bikes in the car too. There was a BMX/skate park next to the oval and the girls loved hanging with the big kids and cutting laps in the park. Flynn was at his first car show and loved walking around putting his greasy mitts all over Bettys bumper :)

Well May is just about done and its nearly June. Its turning out to be a very quiet year for getting out and about in Betty. Since January she has only been out to go to town for a pink slip at the beginning of May, and then she went up to Trev's shed while we had our party. With the arrival of the Mustang one of it or Betty had to make room in the garage so the Commodore could have its spot back. And after rats had a go at the wagon cause it was parked outside, it was time to move a car to the shed. The tidy up down there has made enough space for an extra car, and when I've done a run to the tip the Laser should be able to fit in as well. Betty drew the short straw and is now living in the shed. Mainly because she's the smaller car so takes up less space than the Mustang. When the weather fines up I'll give her a wash and then put the car cover back on to keep the crap from getting all over her paint.
